What is the forex market?
A decentralised market where currency pairs such as EUR/USD trade around the clock on business days. The price expresses the first currency against the second, and profit or loss comes from changes in that ratio.
Pips, spreads and commission
A pip is the smallest usual price increment. The spread is the gap between buy and sell prices, paid the moment you enter. Some accounts show a low raw spread against a fixed commission per lot — compare both together, never one alone.
Leverage
Leverage scales position size against your capital and scales gains and losses equally. Tier-1 regulators cap retail leverage, while offshore entities often allow far higher levels.
Before you open an account
Check the legal entity you actually sign with rather than the brand name, the licence number in the regulator's register, and whether client money is protected. Our verification centre shows these details exactly as we recorded them from official sources.
